John "Austin" Lahourcade, M.D.
Dr. John "Austin" Lahourcade was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from Alamo Heights High School, he went on to The University of Texas at Austin where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and a minor in Spanish. From there, he attended medical school in his hometown at The University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio. Dr. Lahourcade then completed his internship and residency training in General Surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He was also trained and certified in robotic surgery during his residency.
Dr. Lahourcade sees patients at our Medical Center office and speaks both English and Spanish.
