Brittany B. DeBerry, M.D.
Dr. Brittany DeBerry earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Texas at Austin, and her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston, where she was inducted into both Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. She continued her training with a Residency in the Department of Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston, and was chosen Intern of the Year and Resident of the Year for three subsequent years.
Board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. DeBerry has been in practice at General Surgical Associates since 2006. She is also a past Chief of Surgery at Methodist Hospital. Dr. DeBerry is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and Association of Women Surgeons. In addition, she has written numerous published articles and book chapters as well as conducted presentations before her peers at prominent medical conferences.
Dr. DeBerry accepts new patient appointments our Medical Center location and routinely operates in multiple hospital systems in San Antonio.
