We specialize in surgery for a multitude of problems:  breast diseases, thyroid conditions, hiatal, abdominal, and groin hernias, colon & small intestinal conditions, as well as liver, gallbladder, spleen, and pancreas problems. 

Special efforts are made to provide prompt medical and surgical care to all of our patients, 24 hours a day/7 days a week/365 days a year.

We perform both open and laparoscopic surgeries, after an appropriately thorough preoperative ‘face to face’ consultation.  We are dedicated to provide each patient with compassionate and comprehensive peri-operative and post-operative care.

General Surgical Associates is comprised of 12 physicians, and has been serving the San Antonio community for more than 30 years.  Each surgeon has completed a five-year certified general surgical residency, after the completion of medical school at an accredited university.  All of our surgeons are board certified in General Surgery through the American Board of Surgery.
